The new
2004 Acura MDX offers a 260-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V-6, SOHC engine under the
hood with an electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission. The
drive was smooth and this SUV handles nicely on the road partly because of a
Variable Torque Management 4-Wheel-Drive system which will put the power to the
wheels at times where it's need the most.
The
2004 Acura MDX will keep its basic design for 2004, the new edition may get a
V6 3.8 liter and perhaps 280-290 hp the 2004 models have a 260 hp engine. The
move is intended to distance Acura's SUV from Honda's
new Pilot.
