Engine performs swift and has an on-demand acceleration. While the 2004 2005
Buick Regal GS has a 3800 Series II Supercharged V6 it will deliver 240
horsepower and 280 LB-ft torque with an EPA estimated fuel economy of 18 mpg in
the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The Regal LS also delivers performance with
a 200 horsepower 3.8-liter 3800 SFI Series II V6 engine, and standard on LS is

monitor the rotation of the front wheels during acceleration. When the system
detects wheel spin in a particular wheel due to a slick surface, it applies the
brakes to that specific wheel until traction is regained.
Standard on
2004 2005 Buick Regal GS is a full-range traction control which helps sense
drive-wheel slippage and reacts by automatically modulating the brakes and
reducing engine torque until the driver gains control of the vehicle. This
maximizes traction on snow or ice.
